It was around this month, towards the end of last year. It was autumn in my heart. Dramatic huh?

Yes it was. I thought that we couldn’t make it through, but we did Alhamdulillah. It was our turning point towards better future, InsyaAllah.

I was in despair, heartbroken and disappointed with everything that had happened. I sought the answers but I just found another disappointment. There was one day, when I have no tears left to cry, I read a post of a friend who shared about Duaa, prayer to the Almighty Creator. It was like a slap on my face because I knew that it was a test from Him to get me closer to Him. He is The Owner of Help. Yes, life is though but “Allah does not burden a soul beyond that it can bear … (Al-Quran 2:286).”

Here is one thing that I have learned in this journey, “Don’t rely on someone else for your happiness and self worth. It is within you and you are responsible for that”. Be it in whatever you are in i.e. relationship, marriage, career, study etc., don’t take it for granted, do your best because whatever you have right now might turns into what you once had, if you do not appreciate it.

I’ve lived through it. I’ve learned from it. I’ve survived.

So whatever that you are currently going through right now , Allah will get you through it. Have faith in Allah.

Don’t give up for a better future.
